EX2 Kids Race Day Programs

We love partnering with EX2 Adventures, a northern Virginia Race production company. We offer fun, engaging programs for your children while you are racing.

We will spend the morning exploring the nature that area parks have to offer, engage in fun STEM activities, cheer on our grown-ups and participate in a fun kids race.

Schedule:

Backyard Burn: Drop off your child between 8:30-8:45 and pick up before the kid’s race (10:45 am).

Foutainhead 10K and Half Marathon: Drop off your child between 7:30-7:45 and pick up before kids race at 11. If you need additional time please let us know.

We offer programming at all Spring and Fall Backyard Burn Races. We are piloting a program at the Fountainhead 10K and Half Marathon (Spring 2025) Pre-registration is required for all programs.

Cost:

Backyard Burn: $55 per program ($45 for second sibling) Are you signing up for all five dates? All four programs cost $250 per first child and $225 for siblings.

Fountainhead 10K and Half Marathon: $75 ($70 for sibling)

Age: 4-8+ Exceptions made on a case-by-case basis. (Potty training is a must.)

Refund Policy: If you need to cancel, a refund will be given up to 7 days before the event. If cancellation is made within 7-4 days of the program, 50% of the fees will be refunded. Cancelling within 3 days of the event will forfeit fees.
