This is why literacy instruction and support is the primary instructional focus area for Little Fern Learning. We use evidence-based instruction to help all students build their confidence and reach their highest potential. Our sessions follow the Orton Gillingham approach, which stresses that sessions are individualized, multi-sensory, sequential, structured, and explicit. We focus on phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, comprehension, and writing. We also support elementary math instruction. Using a similar approach to our literacy instruction.
